8 Celebrity Moms Who Rock Ombre Hairlights (Photos)

Ombre Hair

I’ve been going back and forth a lot lately on whether or not I want to get ombre highlights. It’s been some time since I’ve done something different with my hair, and I’m just plain bored with traditional highlights. The problem is, I don’t want to look back at my decision to go super trendy and look back at pictures in a few years time and say to myself, “OMG, why did I do that to myself?” You know, kind of like chunky blonde stripes of the very early 2000s or the frosty white hair that you see going around that unfortunately doesn’t pass for blonde at all.

Well, I decided to take a better look at who’s rocking ombre hair and it seems like some celebrity moms like Drew Barrymore and Sarah Jessica Parker have been doing it for years. While it works for some, it doesn’t really work for everybody. Like with every new hair style, there’s a few factors that play in with whether or not you can pull it off: skin tone, crop, hair length, etc.

Take a look at our photo gallery of celebrity moms such as Hilary Duff, Camila Alves, Jessica Alba and more trying out ombre hair and tell us, is it a good mom look to go after? Or do you think this is a trend that will come and go quickly?

Drew Barrymore

Drew has always been a big fan of ombre hair and has been rocking the style long before anyone else in Hollywood. I'll even go as far as saying that she was the first crusader of the style.
