A Homemade It's a Small World! Amazing Christmas Disney DisplaySunny Chanel
What do you do for your Christmas decorations? I do the usual; I put up a tree, nail a wreath to the door and hang the stockings by the chimney with care. I do not, I repeat, do not created a scale model of the classic Disneyland ride “It’s a Small World.” But one family in Woodland Hills-Tarzana, California does.
Known as Candy Cane Lane, the residents of this San Ferdando Valley area (around the intersection of Lubao & Oxnard Streets) have “tried to outdo each other with their light displays,” a tradition since 1952. But the most stunning, to this particular Disney fan, has to be the two story tribute to “It’s a Small World.” It has the design, the lights, and even the music that reflects the original.
Big thanks to Yolanda Machado of Sassy Mama in LA for the image above!
