A Real Family Movie! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Kids Pax, Zahara and Vivienne Will All Be in "Maleficent"
When your mom is one of the most famous actresses in America, it’s only natural that you might be curious to find out what it’s like to be in front of the cameras.
Looks like a full half of the Jolie-Pitt children are going to get that chance! Us Weekly just put out a new report that Pax and Zahara will join little sis Vivienne and their star mom, Angelina Jolie, in the Disney film Maleficent.
The casting of 4-year-old Vivienne was announced over the summer. She’ll be playing the young Princess Aurora, with Elle Fanning starring as the adult princess.
Angelina will be the evil sorceress in this retelling of the familiar Sleeping Beauty tale.
A source tells the magazine that 8-year-old Pax and 7-year-old Zahara “have smaller parts” than Vivienne and that the roles are nonspeaking.
The insider also dishes that another one of Angelina and Brad Pitt‘s six children was also offered a role in the film, but things just didn’t work out.
“Shiloh was supposed to be in it, too,” says the source, “but she was bored and not in the mood during the day her part was supposed to happen, so she ended up not being in the film.”
Ah, well – not everyone harbors dreams of being a movie star.
But for Vivienne, Pax and Zahara, this will be an experience they’ll talk about for years to come. And talk about a great Take Your Children to Work Day!
Maleficent will be out in the early spring of 2014. Are you psyched to see it?

Saw this story at the US site and rolled my eyes. Why do they ALWAYS have to make Shiloh sound like the difficult or oddball child? Angie doesn’t strike me as the kind of parent who’d let their kid out of something they begged her to do just because they’re “out of the mood”. It’s about responsibility and doing what you said you were going to do. JMHO but if Shiloh had asked to be in Maleficent, Angie and Brad wouldn’t let her renege on her promise. Shiloh’s probably more mature at 6 years and 5 months than the grown adults who’ve been stalking her since she was born and writing crap like this about her.
This would be nice, if true. I just don’t believe everything US Weakly writes about the JP’s.
