Starting today, students will be able to check their ACT scores online.
If your child is a student who took the ACT (American College Testing) on October 23, 2010, they will now be waiting to find out their ACT score. The ACT is a standardized test used to assess high school achievement with a multiple-choice format and covers such areas as Reading, English and Math.
By accessing the website ACTStudent.org using a student web account, students can check ACT scores online. In addition, students may take these scores and forward them to colleges and scholarship agencies.
Today is the first day scores are posted but more will be added daily up until December 27th.
If your kids are still in high school and are thinking about college, then the ACT and SAT scores are crucial.
Understanding how the tests work, along with some practice, will help get that high score, and higher if you want your child to get a scholarship. If your teens have mediocre high-school grades, it is even more important to achieve high scores in these tests.
Work with your teens to make them practice tests through the internet. You definitely will be thanking yourself later if your child earns a scholarship!
