Adam Lambert And Other Celebs Send Prayers To Japan Via Twitter


Adam Lambert, the singer/songrwriter best known as the runner-up on Season 8 of American Idol was on Twitter this morning, tweeting a message to those in Japan affected by the huge earthquake and tsunami that rocked the country. The earthquake registered an 8.9 magnitude on the U.S Geological Survey and a series of aftershocks reached 7.4 thirty minutes later.

Lambert is the latest celebrity to send a message to the people of Japan via Twitter. “My thoughts and energy are towards japan”.

Other celebrities have also sent messages via Twitter. They are using the hashtag ‘prayforjapan’ and urge their fans to do the same when posting messages related to the devastation Japan is dealing with.

Kim Kardashian tweeted, “Just heard about the huge earthquake and tsunami in Japan. My prayers are with everyone in Japan!”

P Diddy (aka Sean Combs) asked his followers to pray, saying, “Oh man yall see this earthquake in japan??????!!!!! Let us pray!!!!”

Ryan Seacrest told his Twitter followers, “Glued to TV watching this unreal earthquake footage out of Japan. Sending prayers to everyone affected. Unbelievable.”

Other celebrities have also tweeted their prayers. And although I’m not a celebrity, I’m also sending my prayers to the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan.
