Adele Won't Be Hiring a Nanny for Her Baby! (Plus, a First Glimpse at the New Family)

Adele is a do-it-yourself mom.

There’s not much we know about Adele‘s new baby boy – not his official birth date and time, not his weight, not how much hair he has, and especially not his name.

But we are learning that the British pop sensation is determined not to be one of those rich and famous parents who employs a houseful of help. A source tells the UK tabloid Closer, “Adele has told us, ‘No nannies – I’m going to be a hands-on mummy.’ ”

The source says that although she’s experiencing the typical bleary-eyed nights with her newborn, Adele makes the best of it by watching movies as she nurses her son.

While Adele and fiance Simon Konecki haven’t yet released any photos of their bundle of joy, a sharp-eyed photographer did snap a quick shot of the family walking down a London street!

The pic can be found via Perez Hilton’s site here.

The little guy was snug in his baby carrier while Simon cradled the family dog – what a cute foursome!

Adele, meantime, looked terrific even with no makeup and her hair piled in a casual bun. According to the tab source, she’s more concerned right now with cuddling her son than she is in looking red-carpet-ready.

“Adele says that she’s proud of every inch of herself, but she’s happy she can see her toes again – just!” says the insider.

In other words, don’t expect a Beyonce-style instant body-after-baby transformation anytime soon. Suits us just fine.

Can’t wait to see more pictures of this yummy mummy and her sweet boy!
