Age Is Nothing but a Number: 10 Famous Celebrity May-December Relationships

By Joanna |

In Hollywood, December comes after May.

Forget Botox or a trip to your plastic surgeon’s office. According to Hollywood, the best way to stay and feel young is to date someone 20, 30, or sometimes even 40 years younger than you.

We here at Babble love to talk about babies and kids, but when it comes to some celebrities such as David Hasselhoff, Al Pacino, or even Jennifer Lopez, they love to date people that are probably only a year or two apart in age from their own kids. (Okay, so Jennifer’s boyfriend Casper is 24 and her twin children, Max and Emme are 3, but isn’t the age difference still somewhat shocking?) What brings these couples together — star power? True love?

Check out our photo gallery of some headline-making May/December relationships in Hollywood and decide for yourself! Then tell us: what is the biggest age gap you could handle? My husband is eight years old than me, so yes, I get to experience turning 40 and all the emotions that come with it … twice.

David Hasselhoff and Hayley Roberts

Ok, I'll admit it. When I first saw David with Hayley, I really did think that was one of his daughters. David, 59, and Hayley, 32, have been dating for over a year now with reports even speculating that this Hoffster proposed to her in Sydney, Australia back in January, after he posted a picture of him down one knee next to her on his Twitter account. David later denied the reports that the two are engaged.
