After their workout yesterday, Ali Landry tweeted that she was going to have a beet, carrot, apple and cucumber juice. Why the weird combination?
The Medicine Hut gives the scoop on different vegetable juices. Beet juice is supposed to help with high blood pressure and other heart problems. Carrot juice is said to improve the appetite, digestion, and metabolism, as well as help with resistance to infections and protect the nervous system. Cucumber Cucumber juice is supposed to be a good diuretic.
