Actress Ali Larter welcomed son Theodore eight months ago, and she’s been enjoying every minute with her new little man. Ali has always been known for her amazing body, but she isn’t afraid to admit that losing the baby weight has been tough, and that she’s not quite back to her pre-baby size yet.
Ali told OK Magazine, “There’s a lot of pressure in our business, but I also believe it’s a universal feeling for any mom, about having to get back in shape. But I also have had this baby, and I keep things in perspective.”
She also added, “Yes, it’s nice to get back to your pre-baby weight, but to have a healthy baby is the most important thing. I’m trying to be kind to myself. I’m not there yet. It’s definitely a work in progress, but I’m trying to eat healthy and have fun.”
Ali is shedding her baby weight in a healthy way, but eating fresh, organic foods, and working out when she can. Of her exercise routine, Ali said, “I’m busier than ever, and exercise has gone down to the lowest priority. But I take the baby for long strolls. I go out for a jog, hit a yoga class when I can. I try, when I do have a free moment, to be active, instead of just — sleeping!”
Ali also mentioned that she enjoys bringing baby Theodore to the gym with her when she goes in for workouts. She says that the sound of the treadmill calms him down!
Ali already looks great, and she’ll likely have her pre-baby figure back very soon with the sensible, healthy plan she is following.
