Johnny Depp and Tim Burton (along with a ton of other stars) have teamed up yet again to take us down the rabbit hole in a remake of Lewis Carroll’s tripped out classic Alice in Wonderland. Check out the trailer on the other side of the break.
Although I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with Burton’s version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory — mainly because I don’t think it was as good as the original with Gene Wilder — I’m getting a good feeling about this one.
That might come partly from the fact that it’s jam-packed with star power. This take on the Carroll classic features: Johnny Depp, Helen Bonham Carton, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen and others.
It definitely looks like a flick that will be fun and creepy for the kiddies, but will also not bore the hell out of their parental units. At least, that’s what I’m hoping, anyway.
If anybody should be able to make that happen, it’s Johnny Depp and Tim Burton. As we’re well aware, a pretty huge chunk of the acting Depp does these days is gear towards entertaining his two kids Lily Rose and Jack.
Tim Burton and Helen Bonham Carter also have two little ones: Billy Ray, 5 and 1/2, and Nell, 19 months.
