Amanda Knox "Sick" About Lifetime Movie on Her CrimesMichelle Lamar
Knox was “shocked and hyperventilating” as she watched a news report from her prison cell in Italy that included disturbing clips from the TV movie. The Lifetime TV movie Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy is the story of the murder of Knox’s British roommate Meredith Kercher as well as sex scenes.
A trailer and images from a press screener for the Lifetime movie were shared online. The movie about Amanda Knox airs Feb. 21. The trailer debuted on the Internet this week and has upset both Knox’s family as well as the family of Meredith Kercher, who Knox was convicted of killing on Nov. 1, 2007.
The family of Amanda Knox tried to get Hayden Panettiere to meet with Amanda before starring in the new Lifetime movie. No word on why Hayden didn’t try to get Knox’s side of the story.
Amanda Knox just celebrated her 23rd birthday and is currently awaiting appeal in the murder trial of her roommate Meredith Ketcher. Amanda is one of just 75 female inmates and one of five convicted of murder. There are many who believe Knox is innocent including FBI agent Steven Moore.
FBI agent Steven Moore has gotten involved in the case after discussing it with his wife and realizing that the young girl did not commit any crime.
