Amy Adams recently graced the cover of Parade magazine and discussed her pregnancy weight in the interview.
Amy said, “Being pregnant finally helped me understand what my true relationship was with my body—meaning that it wasn’t put on this earth to look good in a swimsuit.”
Amy gave birth to daughter, Aviana, this past May.
When it comes to working out and getting her body back in check, the actress says, “I’ve been working out when I can, and I’m trying to eat in a healthful way, but losing weight is not my number-one priority. It’s part of my job to return to some semblance of what I was before. But I don’t feel I’ve ever made my career on my rockin’ bod.”
Unfortunately, I think Amy might find that in order to nab the roles she’s had she’ll need to get her body back to tip top shape. Hollywood is very demanding of actors’ bodies.
