Amy Winehouse Is 'Desperate' To Have Kids...Now!

Amy WinehouseTwenty-seven year-old singer Amy Winehouse is ready to settle down and have babies with her boyfriend Reg Traviss. The party girl is ready to trade in her wild ways to raise children. Is this scary to anybody else?

Her hope?  That having kids can fill “the giant hole” in her life. That sounds like a completely selfish reason, not to mention a wrong reason to want kids!

Amy has been dating Reg since last summer. Thirty-three year-old Reg is a film director, and very clean cut…not the kind of guy you’d normally picture dating Amy Winehouse.

The Sun recently reported: “Amy is really desperate to be a mum. She and Reg have talked about moving out of London and they want a big country home for their family, including a large kitchen, rooms for friends to come and stay and a recording studio. She’ll always have a pad in the capital because that’s where her heart is, but she wants the best start possible for her children.”

According to the source, Amy is even learning how to cook and regularly entertains family and friends at home. “She spends her free time cooking hearty meals for her friends and family including chicken soups and pastas, feeding everyone up.”

Now here’s the issue I have with this entire situation. Although she’s been flying under the radar and staying out of trouble since her and Reg started dating, Amy’s ex-husband, bad boy Blake Fielder-Civil, is about to become a father with girlfriend Sarah Aspin.

I’m thinking that Blake’s new baby-to-be might have sparked Amy’s eagerness to start a family of her own. What do you think? Does Amy wanting babies really have something to do with Blake’s becoming a father?
