Actress Angelina Jolie confirmed what the rest of us have known now for years: being a full-time mommy is no walk in the park.
During an interview with 60 Minutes, the mother-of-six admitted that working on movie sets is much more easier than working at home with her children.
While she says she prefers to stay home with the kids to working on films, she admits that she has it much easier than many full-time parents out there.
Angelina explained, “My mother was was a full-time mother. She didn’t have much of her own career, her own life, her own experiences, her own you know, everything was for her children.”
When asked if she is trying to be the same mom she was, Angie says, “I will never be as good a mother as she was. I will try my best, but I don’t think I could ever be. She was she was just grace incarnate. She was the most generous, loving—she’s better than me.”
Brad Pitt‘s other half also said that her biggest regret is that her mother won’t be there for the premiere of her directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey, which is set to hit movie theaters this Christmas.
What do you think? Is Angelina correct in saying that full-time mommyhood is difficult? With six kids, we’re sure she knows what she’s talking about!
