On tonight’s Golden Globe Awards, Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical went to Annette Bening for her role in “The Kids Are Alright.”
She gave a very gracious acceptance speech and called her co-star Julianne Moore “a class act.” Annette Bening’s speech was a good balance to Robert Downey Jr.’s rather classless presentation of the nominees and the awards. I guess he was just trying to be funny when he said that actresses couldn’t do their best work until they have slept with him. Um, ew.
But, getting back to the awards:
“The Kids are Alright” was a Golden Globe Winner for Best Motion Picture- Musial or Comedy.
I have to admit here: I haven’t seen this movie yet. Though, the Golden Globes have me curious about it. Have you seen “The Kids are Alright? ”
