Are Khloe and Kim Kardashian Ready to Adopt?

Khloe and Kim - moms in 2012?

Has baby fever hit the Kardashian clan? Word has it that, now that Kourtney is expecting her second child, sisters Khloe and Kim are anxious to start their own families as well, through whatever means possible.

Khloe has been wanting a baby for some time with husband Lamar Odom, even telling her Twitter followers that she’s been “praying” for a child. Sources tell In Touch magazine that since their efforts to get pregnant naturally haven’t worked, they’ve been looking into in vitro treatments. But adoption may also be an option for the couple.

“Khloe would love a biological baby with Lamar, but that isn’t a necessity,” a friend told the magazine. “At the end of the day, her heart is big enough that she would love any baby who needs a home…She just wants a family with Lamar.”

Lamar, for his part, has said his wife would be “an amazing mom.”

And while Kim no longer has a potential father in her life after her humiliating split from Kris Humphries, a source says she’s been talking about adoption ever since visiting an impoverished Haitian orphanage.A loving gesture, yes? Maybe not. The insider says that Kim’s desperate for anything to help repair her image as a shallow, media-hungry divorcee.

Another “friend” claims that Kim is anything but ready for parenthood – she’s barely even an aunt. When she’s with Kourtney’s son Mason, she’s all cuddles for the camera, then ignores him while texting her besties.

So do you believe all the rumors? Which of the sisters do you think will be announcing baby news in the New Year?
