Ashlee Simpson Looks Amazing in Her Little Red Dress (Photos)

Ashlee Simpson leaving through the back door of Pink Taco in West HollywoodWhen you’re a single mom, having an evening to yourself is an especially welcome treat.

Ashlee Simpson certainly seemed to reflect that sentiment as she left the West Hollywood restaurant Pink Taco last night. She was there with friends helping celebrate the Svedka Vodka Throwback 90′s Party.

So what does a single celeb mom wear for a night on the town? For Ashlee, who just released her new single “Bat for a Heart,” it was an eye-popping red minidress with illusion paneling and wide beaded necklace, topped off by a black furry coat and Louboutin animal-print heels.

Leaving the party, she was escorted into her waiting car. Did she go straight home, or did she and her pals make a stop or two on the way? We don’t know.

Fortunately, Ashlee didn’t have to worry about her son, Bronx Mowgli. He was in the good hands of dad Pete Wentz and his girlfriend, Meagan Camper. The Simpson-Wentz split is one of the classic examples of how couples keep it classy and friendly after parting ways.
