Auld Lang Syne Meaning: Listen to the Sex and the City New Years Song(VIDEO)

It’s tradition on New Year’s Eve to have Auld Lang Syne playing as the new year begins.  You can see more information on the meaning and lyrics of the song by clicking that link, but in general, the meaning is “old times.”

My personal favorite version is the one from the Sex & the City movie.  Seeing all the favorite characters together at the New Year: Charlotte and Harry, Samantha and Smith, and then Carrie travelling across town to be with Miranda and tell her “You are not alone” before the ball drops…while Mr. Big does sit alone.
