Holly Madison has had quite a busy few years! It started with her TV debut on The Girls Next Door. She then transitioned to her solo show Holly’s World (which I enjoyed watching weekly) and, most recently, she shimmied her way onto ABC’s Dancing with the Stars!

The UBER HOT mom-to-be/model/actress/business women and animal advocate is due to have her first baby girl soon and this past September, she launched Lucky Pet Products by Holly Madison. WOW!

I had the chance to ask Holly a few questions about her pregnancy, what she sees in her future and her love for animals. If you did not know, Holly has quickly become a leader in animal advocacy! She loves her puppies and was inspired to design and market durable, safe pet products. “As an owner of rescued pets and an advocate for animal rescue, I knew I wanted to take my involvement to the next level. With Lucky Pet Products I am able to design and help produce a wonderful product that benefits the shelter and provides care for those animals that are still waiting to be placed in their forever home,” Holly said.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Lucky Pet Products benefit the Animal Foundation of Las Vegas, the nation’s largest animal rescue and shelter facility in the United States.

  • What is the one thing you did not expect about being pregnant? 1 of 8
What is the one thing you did not expect about being pregnant?
I certainly didn't expect to get morning sickness in the second trimester!

    On reading books
All the pregnancy books say it usually passes by the start of the second trimester, so when I hit three months with no morning sickness, I thought I was free and clear. It feels good to have read up on what to expect and to be familiar with the pregnancy symptoms, but my symptoms definitely didn't match the given timelines all the time.

  • How are the dogs handling the baby coming? 3 of 8
How are the dogs handling the baby coming?
I'm hiring a trainer to come work with them and give me some tips on how to re-potty train them. Lately they have been leaving surprises for me all over the family room floor, which is unusual. I think they are protesting the baby coming.

  • What is your favorite thing about being pregnant? 4 of 8
What is your favorite thing about being pregnant?
My favorite thing so far has been being able to handle the challenges with relative ease. Every day your body is changing and throwing a new curveball at you. Also, you have to challenge yourself to get used to slowing down. Pregnancy can sometimes take you away from your job or keep you from doing other productive things. For example, we are supposed to be moving soon, so I'm trying to get rid of a bunch of stuff from my storage closet, but since my doctor has barred me from lifting any heavy objects, I can barely make any progress.

  • Are you using any special creams or products to keep your body in shape during the pregnancy? 5 of 8
Are you using any special creams or products to keep your body in shape during the pregnancy?
I'm using a ton of different creams to guard against stretch marks, and so far I don't have any. I've been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter, Mamma Mio oils and creams and MotherLove oil. I'm not taking any chances!

  • What are your plans for the future? 6 of 8
What are your plans for the future?
I would like to get back to performing onstage, hopefully not too long after I have the baby. I want whatever I do in the future and the roles I choose to be very different from anything I've done in the past.

  • What is the first thing you want to do once you have the baby? 7 of 8
What is the first thing you want to do once you have the baby?
Go to Starbucks and get a huge coffee! No, really, I'm hoping to take a few weeks at home to get used to the baby and to bond with her, and then I'm excited about getting back into shape. I hope the sound of treadmills and exercise bikes lull her to sleep!

  • What is your guilty pleasure? 8 of 8
    What is your guilty pleasure?
My last guilty pleasure is Taco Bell. I've lost my taste for most fast foods, thankfully, but the Taco Bell bean burrito is the last man standing. I'm so guilty, I'm totally closet about it. I always seem to be making my Taco Bell runs when there's no one else around.
