Baby Showers of the Rich & Famous — Kevin Costner Edition

Kevin Costner, yes the one and only Kevin Costner of Bull Durham and Waterworld fame, is about to celebrate the birth of a new baby. This is his third child with wife Christine Costner and this time they’ll be having a  baby girl who will join 2-year-old Cayden and one-year-old Hayes. Kevin already has some built in baby sitter with three other kids – of the grown variety- who are ages 26, 24 and 22.

To celebrate the new addition to the family, Christine invited a slew of their friends and family to a highfalutin baby shower at the fancy Four Seasons Biltmore. So how do the other half do a baby shower?

Here are some of the highlights:

At the pink themed party guests were serves a lunch of  “Ahi tuna and Dungeness Crab rolls served with avocado crisps wantons and passion fruit chili dressing, followed by an entrée of lemon dusted chicken breast, tomato confit and scallion caper salsa served with grilled artichokes.” And really, who can resist a good lemon dusting? For desert they has a  “beautiful vanilla cake layered with fresh rasberries and delicious pink
cupcakes.”

What did the lucky mom-to-be get as presents? Among the gifts she got were an Ergo Caboose Stroller, Ju-Ju Be’s “Be Spicy Mint Julep Tote, a big basket of Itzy Ritzy products like infant carseat cover and whole lot of other baby gifts.

And when there is a gathering in Hollywood, goodie bags are of course invited. The party guests got Le Sport Sac totes filled with Kai Body Butter, LNA T-shirts, Skechers Shape-Ups, home food delivery from Nurtifit , custom puzzles from Kidlandia as well as oodles of other goodies.

Christine said the shower was ,” an intimate, special day celebrating with my close friends and family. I especially loved the Pink Citron candles that adorned each place setting and the gift bags were a wonderful surprise- everyone left with a big smile!”
