Bachelor No More? Sean Lowe Is Reportedly Engaged - and Wants Kids ASAP!

Television star Sean Lowe from 'The Bachelor' speaks to Mario Lopez in Los AngelesA new Bachelor baby?

HollywoodLife has come out today with a couple of spoiler alerts about the adorable looking-for-love Sean Lowe. According to their report, not only will he be getting engaged on Monday’s finale, but he also wants to marry quickly so he and his bride can get going on starting a family.

A confidante of Sean’s reveals that he is happily engaged to Catherine Giudici, but that the engagement will be a short one.

“Sean wants a family soon, 100 percent; he is very big into family,” says the source. “He and Catherine have already talked about having kids right after they’re married.”

Other reports confirm that the couple could be heading for the altar as early as this summer – which means that by this time next year, Sean and Catherine could be shopping for nursery items.

Sean has made it known from the start that marriage and family are his top priorities, so the Bachelor competitors went into the game knowing that this would be the outcome.

There’s nothing wrong with pursuing baby plans on an accelerated schedule if you know you’re ready to be a parent. But is it wise for a couple to jump right into parenthood when they’ve only known each other a few months – and under such artificial circumstances? Unfortunately, the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise doesn’t have the best track record, happy-marriage-wise.

Maybe once Sean and his intended are out of the spotlight, they’ll decide to spend a little more time getting to know each other before bringing a baby into the mix. Or who knows? They could be another Trista and Ryan Sutter, who found happiness against the odds and now have two children.

Whatever the outcome, we wish Sean all the best!
