Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky Says She's Ready for Children

Bachelorette fans, listen up! The new season of The Bachelorette starts May 24, and its star Ali Fedotowsky declares she’s ready to find the man of her dreams — and have a child with him. Ali, sweetheart, then might I suggest something more reliable, like match.com or eHarmony, given the dismal track record of The Bachelor franchise?

Fedotowsky, who left The Bachelor last season to return to her job at Facebook and Jake Pavelka in the clutches of Vienna, may not be up on the stats.  There have been 14 bachelors and five bachelorettes since the series started filming in 2002. Exactly one has children with their choice — Trista Rehn, the very first Bachelorette, who picked Ryan Sutter. Not exactly great odds if you’re seriously looking to procreate. Which my guess is Ali’s not.

But, hey, it will be fun to watch the latest crop of reality star wannabes make complete drunken fools of themselves on national television. Set your TIVO!
