Everyone’s favorite “Family” is back!
After a temporary dispute over their contracts, the cast of Modern Family returned to work this week, shooting a new season of fun family chaos in the lives of the Pritchett and Dunphy clans. This year should be especially interesting with the plot twist of Gloria’s (Sofia Vergara) unexpected pregnancy.
No one was happier to return to the cameras than 5-year-old Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who plays Lily, adopted daughter of Cam and Mitchell. A regular visitor to Twitter (with just a little help from mom Amy Anderson), Aubrey frequently tweets about life on the set.
Over the last couple of days, Aubrey has been sharing pictures of herself and her castmates as they hang out on the set. In this cute shot, she shows off the surprise she found in her trailer: a gift of Smarties candy from the crew. “I love them ,” she writes.
So what inspired Aubrey to go into acting at such a young age, anyway? “The money, fame, candy,” she says.
Through her tweets, she also shares her thoughts on Family star Ed O’Neill (“He’s silly”), her favorite costar (diplomatically, she says it’s Bridgette, the French bulldog who plays Stella) and having fans scream at the sight of her (“It makes me feel like the Beatles”).
Take a look at Aubrey’s great photos – and see what she loves to do when she’s not on the set!
