Share Celebrity moms are the media's newest big thing - some are idolized and emulated, others criticized and ridiculed - but as a culture, we're clearly obsessed. We track every stage of their baby bumps, scoff at their post-baby bodies, drool over their kids' outfits and desperately search for any traces of normalcy that show us, Hey, they're just like me! Love them or loathe them, here are 50 we couldn't ignore. Now, it's your turn. Who'd we miss? Nominate your favorite - and least favorite - celebrity moms.

Celebrity Mom Jennie Garth

Jennie’s Rankings

We’d love to share PTA duty with with Jennie Garth – and not just because she’s Kelly Taylor from 90210. Of course it helps that Jennie, mother of three daughters – Luca, Lola and Fiona (who are not allowed to watch 90210 by the way) seems extremely friendly and down-to-earth or that she’s married to People’s “Sexiest Dad,” Peter Facinelli of Twilight fame. (Check out our interview with him!) Just like the rest of us, Jennie admits she lets the dishes pile up, walks around with spit-up on her clothes and had major separation issues when her kids went to school. “I’m the mom that stayed in the back hiding,” she said. Nice to know it’s not just us.

I’m not surprised Michelle Obama is #1! She is an amazing inspiration to women around our country!

  2. Anonymous says:

nice list! very cute, as much as i pretend like i don’t “follow” celebs

  3. Maureen says:

Regardless of your politics, anyone can look at Michelle and see a devoted wife, mother and a strong individual; in the end, that’s all that matters. She is definitely an inspiration to me and countless others.

  4. Rebecca says:

Love this list! Where’s Courtney Cox, though?!

  5. Jennifer says:

Why is Octomom on the list? Really?

  6. Anonymous says:

Did you read the title? Best AND worst? Of course she’s on the list.

  7. Sandie says:

I can’t believe people would vote Britney Spears at number 15! Maybe when she grows up a little!

  8. Anonymous says:

I think Britney’s come a long way from the hot mess she used to be.

  9. Anonymous says:

Michelle Obama, seriously? She’d be nothing if her husband wasn’t the President. Not saying she’s the worst mom ever, but cmon, she only made the list because of politics.

  10. Chandra Mahale says:

    Love this list!

  13. Nicole Christine DiMayo says:

Kate Gosselin doesn’t deserve to be on the list. She is NOT by means a celebrity.

  14. Anonymous says:

Last time I picked up an USWeekly, believe you’d be wrong Nicole. Sad world we live in.

  15. MOsFriendFromChicagoDays says:

Oh please. Everybody knows that the media handlers of the Obamas made sure to Stepford Michelle so that she would be more palatable to the public.

The Michelle you see is not the real Michelle. People who have known her for decades know that it is all an act. Like I said, they Stepford her.

Poor Michelle, they can’t even have her be herself, because if she was, it would be too controversial. Give it up Michelle, America is ready for a strong woman as a first lady — you don’t have to act like a 1950′s housewife to be liked!! Give up that lame vegetable garden show you have going on and just be yourself!!!

  16. anonymous says:

I think that Kate Gosselin IS a celebrity. and deffinately a mom. however, I don’t think she is great one.

  17. Debra says:

    I’m not easliy impressed. . . but that’s impressing me! :)

  18. justacomment says:

I disagree that Michelle Obama is as impressive as the her handlers would have you believe. I could not be less impressed with her.
