Bethenny Frankel: Divorce? No Way!

Bethenny Frankel, Jason Hoppy and Bryn: A family forever

Bethenny star and former Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel has been the subject of many a divorce rumor, and it’s no wonder – her reality show Bethenny Ever After captured the struggles she and husband Jason Hoppy have gone through since their marriage two years ago.

But don’t believe every rumor you hear. Bethenny tells People, “We’ve been scared. The second year of marriage has not been easy. We hit bottom, [but] we came out the other side.”

And splitting? Not a chance. “I think we have what it takes to make it work,” she says. “I don’t have a backup plan. It’s not like shopping for shoes and getting a new pair. That’s not what it’s about.”

The mom of toddler Bryn is also making a move that might go a long way toward keeping her relationship with Jason strong. What is it?She’s quitting reality TV for good to focus on her talk show and other projects.

“I’m done with putting my personal life and family on reality television,” the Skinnygirl says. “I went all the way, and I think it may be enough. Enough about me.”

Keeping her relationship private will certainly take the pressure off the couple. And, as any marriage counselor will tell you, some R&R doesn’t hurt either. Now that her first Bethenny episodes have wrapped, she and Jason are going into “lockdown” by relaxing at the beach with Bryn for the rest of the summer.

Sounds like a good recipe for a happy-ever-after!
