Bethenny Frankel is one busy mom – and yet she finds the time to squeeze in exercise, even working out with Bryn!
Frankel just released a new workout DVD called “Skinnygirl Workout,” that breaks it down into mom-manageable workouts, with two 15 minute segments and one 20 minute segment.
Frankel tells Everyday Health that she used to be pretty “manic” about exercise, saying, “Before I used to do boot camp and spinning,” but notes, “I just don’t need that in my life.”
How does Bethenny find the time? “I usually only work out at home in the morning after I put the baby down. And even then it’s not every day, but maybe two or three times a week,” she says.
Bethenny is a huge yoga fan, but it had to grow on her, as she explains, “the more I did it, the more I loved it. It always made me feel better, like I had a massage that was getting the creaks out.”
As for her workout DVD, Frankel has nailed down the key for busy moms: “It is individual sections that cater to your total body. Each section tones and works every part of your body so you don’t feel cheated if you only do 15, 20, or 35 minutes.”
Frankel adds, “I came into this world to let people know that they didn’t have to be so crazy about working out. I used to be like that and it’s not real life and it makes people hate what they have to do.”
I bought Bethenny’s Skinnygirl Workout a week ago… and still haven’t found the time to do it. But I will!!
