Better Than A Cookbook? Melissa Gorga Starts Work On Her "Perfect Marriage" BookJoanna Mazewski
One of my favorite all-time movies is “Divorce, Italian Style” with Sofia Loren. I could watch that scene where Sofia admits that she faked her sickness in order for her lover to marry her before he runs off with his second mistress. The scene is an epic classic, to say the least. If you ask me, it was probably Sofia’s best performance of her career (although I’m sure there are those who will argue that point with me). I can best put in three simple words: pure Hollywood gold.
So of course when I heard that Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga was writing a book with a similar title called, “Love, Italian Style,” of course the first thing I did was think: ok! If there’s anyone out there who should be writing a book about Italian love, that person should be Sofia Loren and only Sofia Loren. Cue Teresa Giudice with the Olive Garden jokes!
Melissa tweeted to her fans that she is already writing the tome and recently admitted why she is writing the love and marriage book by explaining, “I can’t tell you how many times Joe and I are approached by fans asking how they can have a marriage like ours. A great marriage doesn’t just happen. It’s a job.”
I don’t know, but didn’t Heidi Klum say the same thing about a year ago? Are you guys going to be picking up the book?
