I don’t know about you, but the both times I stepped out of the hospital after giving birth to my children, I still looked like a good 8 months pregnant. And I looked like that for a good few months post-partum, too. It wasn’t until my children turned 1-year-old that I was able to button up my pre-pregnancy jeans and let out a nice, “Aaahhh.”
But enough about me, let’s talk about people more important than us: celebrity mothers that miraculously lose 30 pounds after giving birth within weeks and if not days after giving birth to their little urchins.
Blue Ivy’s momma Beyonce just stepped out one month after giving birth to the Princess Illuminati and poof! It looks like the 30 pounds she gained during her pregnancy melted away like butter on one of Paula Deen’s hearty yet diabetics-inducing recipes.
I mean, carrying your baby weight around for few weeks post-partum is not a seasonal must-have accessory, is it? If there is anything that celebrities are teaching us, it’s that it’s way more important to spend hours in the gym in order to regain your figure back while you leave your newborn baby with one of his or her six nannies.
