Bill and Giuliana Rancic Are Planning for Another Baby!

Bill, Giuliana and Duke Rancic.

We all know by now that Bill and Giuliana Rancic are just utterly, totally and helplessly in love with their baby boy, Edward Duke, and throwing themselves wholeheartedly into their roles as new parents. Giuliana goes so far as to confess that she even loves seeing Duke’s poopy diapers, because it means he’s healthy.

Well, it looks like they’re going to be twice as smitten before long – they tell Life & Style Weekly exclusively that they’re already preparing for another baby!

Giuliana tells the magazine, “A lot of people have one kid and it’s enough. But for us, we’re just having so much fun that we’d love to have another child.”

And that’s not just idle “maybe someday” wishing. Bill confirms, “The wheels are in motion. We already have plans in the works!”

They explain that it’s too soon for Giuliana to try becoming pregnant, since she’s on a course of medication to prevent recurrence of her breast cancer. However, before she went on the drug, she underwent in vitro fertilization, so “we’ve got a few embryos on ice,” she says. “They’re ready to go!”

In all likelihood, they’ll ask their gestational surrogate, Delphine, to carry Duke’s sibling, since they had such a positive experience with her the first time around. The process involves having the surrogate take injections to prepare the uterine  lining for pregnancy, then transferring one or more embryos into the uterus.

Depending on how far “the wheels” have rolled so far, Duke could have a baby sister or brother by this time next year!
