Billy Ray is trying to mend his relationship with daughter Miley Cyrus after making comments in GQ magazine saying he is “scared” for her well-being.
Billy Ray, 49, tells People magazine that his comments in GQ were “explosive, and unintentionally so” and that he is now focusing his time on mending his relationship with his children and his estranged wife, Tish Cyrus.
Billy Ray told GQ magazine that he never made a dime off his daughter and that his family was being attacked by Satan. Miley was “furious” over the comments and many were comparing him to the likes of Michael Lohan.
“My family is the most important thing I have, and we are working together to make sure our future is stronger and healthier,” Cyrus told People. “It is all a learning process, and we thank everyone for their support and respect of our privacy as we sort through very important family issues.”
