Bosses Day 2010: Don't do what this guy is doing

It’s almost Bosses Day 2010! Show some proper appreciation to the man or woman who puts food on your kids’ table by sending them a free e-card via the sites below. Bosses Day began way back in 1958. Patricia Bays Haroski, who was working for her father, registered the day with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and four years later Illinois proclaimed the first-ever Boss’s Day. When is Bosses Day? It is usually celebrated on October 16— but this year, because the 16th is a Saturday, it’s being celebrated October 15, a Friday.

Though Emily Post recommends sending cards as a group instead of as an individual (you don’t want to look like you’re sucking up), there are plenty of web sites where you can grab a last-minute card if everyone forgot.
