It’s not Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2, but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will reunite on the big screen for The Counselor.
Deadline reported on Thursday (April 12) that the new movie is about an attorney who gets caught up in a drug trafficking scheme. Jolie, 36, and Pitt, 48, as well as Javier Bardem are all in talks to join the Ridley Scott helmed film.
This would be the first movie that Jolie and Pitt have starred in together since 2005’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith – the movie where they met and fell in love.
Recently, Brad admitted to wanting to do more work with his longtime partner. “We should be doing [movies] together,” Pitt told Entertainment Weekly last year. “We should be doing everything together, and then we could work less. We could have more time off…We work really well together.”
What do you think? Is a co-starring film a disaster or a guaranteed money-maker?
