Brad Pitt Is The New Face Of Chanel Fragrance No. 5: Smooth Marketing Idea? (Photos)

Brad Pitt

You’d think actress Angelina Jolie would be a shoe-in as the face of Chanel’s Fragrance No. 5 but it looks like their advertising team had someone else in mind: her fiancé, actor Brad Pitt. The French fashion house has just announced the father of six as the new face of their upcoming campaign for the classic fragrance.

It’s still unknown if Brad will be the face of the woman’s fragrance, which first launched in the twenties, or if the brand is launching a men’s version.

I’m actually pretty excited to see what Chanel comes up with for Brad. I’ll admit that Nicole Kidman’s advert for the fragrance was pretty mesmerizing while it ran a few years ago and French actress Audrey Tatou did a pretty good job with hers, too. I’m pretty sure they’ll come up with something classic.

Check out our photo gallery of some of Chanel’s most classic adverts for their Fragrance No. 5 perfume and tell us, do you think Brad is a good fit for their upcoming campaign? Or should have they chosen someone else?

Nicole Kidman

Aussie actress Nicole Kidman was paid with a $8.5 million dollar contract to be the face of Chanel in the mid-2000s. It was one of Nicole's most memorable ad campaigns to date where she looked both stunning and gorgeous in their promos and television commercials for the perfume.
