Say it isn’t so! Amid rumors that ABC is considering both Chris Lambton and Ty Brown as possible leading men for the next season of The Bachelor, Reality Steve is reporting that former Bachelor, Brad Womack, may be the man they choose.
In case you need a refresher, Brad Womack is the only Bachelor in the history of the show to reject both women at the final rose ceremony and leave the show alone. Both Deanna Pappas and Jenny Croft were left standing there at the end in tears…and viewers were all wondering why he didn’t fall for either of the women.
The consensus was pretty much that Brad got cold feet, and just wasn’t ready to settle down and start a family. Deanna and Jenni both went on to find love and happiness, and up until now, we thought we’d never hear from Brad Womack again.
According to Reality Steve, Brad Womack as the next Bachelor is “basically a done deal.” He even says that ABC asked Womack to be the last Bachelor before they signed up Jake Pavelka, but he turned the role down.
ABC has had great ratings with bringing back contestants from past shows, but does Brad Womack really deserve another shot at love, marriage, and kids?
And judging from the way his season of the show ended, will women really feel confident about dating him?
In my opinion, he already had his shot, and he blew it. ABC should give someone else a chance.
