Brave Wins the Oscar for Best Animated Feature!

I have a a great soft spot for Brave. It’s lush, beautiful, grand and glorious. Plus I had the opportunity to meet and interview the filmmakers a couple times, I practiced archery on the Pixar lot,  I went to the premiere, and I even tried haggis. So Brave has many deep personal bonds for me. Plus my daughter loves it. So there’s that!

And on Sunday, the filmmakers were given the biggest award out there – the Oscar.  A kilt-wearing Mark Andrews (co-director) took to the stage to and thanked the Pixar team and his four kids and Brenda Chapman (co-director) gave thanks to her daughter, who just happened to be the inspiration for Brave!

Congrats to the Brave team! A very well deserved win!
