One of the most anticipated scenes in the upcoming film Breaking Dawn, the last of a two-part ending to the Twilight Saga, is the birth scene of Bella & Edward’s daughter, Renesmee, played by Mackenzie Foy.
Bella and Edward, played by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, conceive Renesmee before Bella is converted to a vampire, making the child half human, half blood-sucker. To say that the birth scene in the book is intense is the understatement of the year, so we can’t help but wonder how the movie version will stack up.
The cast of Breaking Dawn says that it will be just as intense, yet tasteful as well. Jackson Rathbone said, “I think people are really, really excited and surprised about how tastefully it can be done.”
Actress Nikki Reed’s character, Rosalie, is an integral part of the Renesmee birthing scene, because having a child is something that her pre-human self always longed for. Reed says of the scene, “It’s intense. It’s really intense… I play a pivotal role in this, because this is what Rosalie has always wanted, you know what I mean? I’m with my acting coach every day, three hours a day… I really care about this and I want it to be good.”
There is no doubt that everyone’s eyes will be glued to the movie screen to watch Renesmee enter the land of the living…and the dead!
