Man or a Muppet

The Muppets win! The Muppets win! Well, it wasn’t Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog coming onto the stage to accept the award for the Best Original Song. Instead it was a a very human member of the Muppet crew, Bret McKenzie of Flight of the Conchords fame.

Bret  – who is a Muppet fan, a TV star, and a dad – won the Academy Award for his amazing, catchy and very moving song “Man or a Muppet.” The song in the film was sung by the Muppet Walter and Jason Segel (who looked like he was going to start to cry when the song won).
