Will Bristol win Dancing with the Stars?
She has surprised judges and viewers alike with her improvement week after week on the hit show.
But the single mom has also had many wondering… why hasn’t she lost weight on the show? Has she, in fact, been gaining weight instead?
The vigorous competition requires contestants to rehearse their dance routines for hours every day, especially if they want to make it to the finals like Bristol has.
DWTS contestant Kelly Osbourne credits her time on the show as a kick-start to her 50-pound weight loss. This seaon, Kyle Massey has clearly shown how intense exercise can take the pounds off.
But maybe not for Bristol. She has said herself that she hadn’t shed any weight while on the show.
“I haven’t really noticed a change in [my body],” she told “Access Hollywood.” “I think most people lose weight [on the show] because they’re too stressed out to eat. I haven’t had that problem!”
In fact, photos from the beginning of DWTS to the final performances suggest that Bristol may have gained a few pounds. One report says she has gained 15 pounds since the show started!
You know how some people don’t eat when they’re stressed? Well I’m the opposite – maybe Bristol is too. The stress hormone cortisol can actually cause weight gain.
Has the stress been getting to Bristol, which has led to her over eating? Or is she just gaining muscle?
