Carla Hall Says There Was A "Boys Club" On Top Chef (VIDEO)

By Natalie |

Last night on Watch What Happens: Live, former Top Chef contestant Carla Hall was interviewed about her experience on the show.

Watch What Happens: Live host Andy Cohen asked Hall if she felt that there was sexism in the cooking competition:

“I think there was a divide. I honestly do. I think that there was the boys’ club, and there was the girls’ club.” I’m guessing that’s not what Cohen expected to hear because his response was: “Uhuh, interesting.”

Hall appeared on the fifth season of Top Chef, where she and Stefan Richter lost to Hosea Rosenberg. She than appeared on this season’s Top Chef All Stars (season 8), where she finished fifth in the competition.

Carla continues to work as the executive chef and owner of Alchemy by Carla Hall (formerly Alchemy Caterers).

Watch Carla talking about her experience in the clip below.
