With the engagement ring on her finger, I’m sure she’s got a million things to plan to get the wedding all set. But other than her appearance on DWTS, I didn’t really know much about Carrie Ann, so I thought I’d share some facts with you here!
Carrie Ann was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 5, 1968. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. degree in World Arts and Cultures.
Carrie Ann speaks Japanese, and she actually lived in Tokyo from 1986 to 1988 where she was a popular singer. She released three singles, and hosted a weekly radio and television series.
Carrie Ann was a “Fly Girl” from 1990-1992 on the popular In Living Color TV show. She also was a dancer for Madonna’s 1993 Girlie Show World Tour!
Before dating Sloan, Carrie Ann dated Artem Chigvintsev from 2006-2008. Chigvintsev is also a dancer and former So You Think You Can Dance contestant.
Carrie Ann hosts the game show 1 vs. 100 on GSN. She’s made many appearances in movies (including the Austin Powers series), TV shows (including Hannah Montana), and has choreographed many TV shows (including American Idol).
Congratulations to the happy couple!
