Did you know that Iron Chef Cat Cora recently wrote a children’s book? And do you know there are lots of other celeb moms that have done the same? Madonna, Julianne Moore, and Jada Pinkett Smith just to name a few.

Let’s start with Cat. Cat does a lot of traveling due to her successful career, and her kids aren’t always happy with her taking another business trip.

Cat’s mom to four sons: 7 year-old Zoran, 4 year-old Caje, 2 year-old Thatcher, and 21 month-old Nash.

Zoran came up with the idea that Cat would take one of his toys with her on her trips so that he knows she was always thinking of him. It seemed to work, and led her to write her first children’s book, A Suitcase Surprise for Mommy, which you can find in stores now.

Cat tells PEOPLE: “It was one particular trip that he really didn’t want me to go, and I was really trying to figure out how to soothe him and myself as well because I was having a lot of mommy guilt. I got on a plane that day and literally wrote the book in like 30 minutes, because I was just missing him so much.”

But Cat is one of many celeb moms to pen stories.

Madonna is a single mom of four, 13 year-old Lourdes, 9 year-old Rocco, 4 year-old David, and 4 year-old Mercy. She has written The English Roses series, and Mr. Peabody’s Apples.

Julianne Moore is mother of 12 year-old Cal and 8 year-old Liv. She wrote the popular book, Freckleface Strawberry to “provide reassurance in a humorous way to children who feel they are different.”

You can watch a video of her talking about the story here.

Jada Pinkett Smith is mom to 17 year-old stepson Trey, 11 year-old son Jaden, and 9 year-old daughter Willow. She wrote the empowering children’s book, Girls Hold Up This World, which celebrates the “inner strength of women and girls,” and helps boost the self-confidence of young women.
