Celeb Dad Charlie Sheen: Is He Working Out His Issues For His Children?

Staying Sober: Charlie Sheen

No more tiger blood, eh?

Charlie Sheen is back in the headlines and thankfully, he’s taking it easy these days.

The former “Two and a Half Men” star says that there’s no more tiger blood, trolls, and goddesses in his life and that he instead is concentrating on his kids and working on his relationships with his two ex-wives, Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards.

Charlie sat down with the “Today Show’s” Matt Lauer and explained that the Charlie that the world saw earlier this year is not the same Charlie he is today.

“I don’t really know what happened. It was one of those things where the planets were aligned, perfectly or imperfectly. I said some stuff and then it caught such traction globally and instantly that I couldn’t really put out the fire,” Sheen tells Lauer.

Tell us, do you think Charlie has finally worked out his issues for his family or is this just a temporary fix?

Check out our gallery of Charlie and some of his better quotes in which he talks about his childhood, keeping sober, and what he is doing now for kids children.

"I just don't want to live like I used to. And at some point, I'm going to put a gag order on myself in terms of talking about the past. I've got to slam the door and deal with the present and the future."

[on being told that Charlie Harper's exit on 'Two and a Half Men' will be his death]: "I have always been told that I have nine lives, so it's going to be amazing to witness my own funeral, which is clearly a win-win situation, because Ashton [Kutcher] has given me a tenth."

"As kids we're not taught how to deal with success; we're taught how to deal with failure. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. If at first you succeed, then what?"

"What is a normal childhood? We weren't rich, we were pretty middle-class. My dad survived from job to job; with him taking care of so many relatives, he couldn't save any money."

"There is such a thing as too much fun. It gets redundant. How many times can you wake up and struggle to remember your name, her name and where you are?"

"Lead by example and teach your kids right and wrong. If my right and wrong is a little bit different than anybody else, then my kids will be different too."

"I'm extremely old-fashioned, I'm a nobleman, I'm chivalrous. I believe that chivalry is not dead, it's just been in a coma for a while."

On re-appearing on 'Two and a Half Men:' "Absolutely. If they wanted or needed it or thought that was a good idea, I'd be completely on board for that. There's your closer. I'll be in the final episode."

"Just, I don't know, the tiger blood … it was so silly and people took it so seriously, and I figured, alright, I'll continue to give the people what they want, you know?"

"I'm seeing my kids a lot more, mending fences with Denise and Brooke, just trying to move forward and prioritize what matters,"
