Celebrate Earth Day By Making Jessica Alba’s Eco-Friendly Easter Baskets!

By Natalie |

Today is Earth Day, and green celeb moms are celebrating just like you are! Some of them take big steps to celebrate, while others, like Jessica Alba, are making fun craft projects that you, too can make with your kids!

Known as an environmentally friendly actress (she even drives a Prius!), Jessica shared pictures and super easy how-to instructions on her Facebook page to make cute eco-friendly Easter baskets. All you will need are some recyclable products - and you probably have them laying around the house.

Instructions are included below so that you can make these baskets with your kids, too!
Twenty-nine year-old Jessica and her 2 year-old daughter Honor made the baskets by using shoeboxes, simply covering them with colored construction paper. Then they made cute little bunnies out of paper, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks and pom-poms. For grass, they shredded green construction paper. It’s a simple and green way to celebrate!

I have everything on hand to make these baskets – it will be a fun way to spend Earth Day with the kids!
