Are you pregnant and craving weird foods? When I was expecting I personally didn’t want anything strange but did want fried chicken at every meal. That’s peculiar for me because I’m a vegetarian! Expectant celebrities are the same as us, all wanting that special snack to satisfy themselves and their babies.
Here’s a rundown on what celebrity moms craved (or didn’t) when they were pregnant.
“It’s funny because I used to love chocolate — I was such a chocolate lover until I got pregnant!” she told Usmagazine.com. “But now it just doesn’t appeal to me at all. I haven’t really had any since I got pregnant.”
Giada De Laurentiis
“I used to crave sweets before I got pregnant. You know, chocolate, cookies, cake. I’ve normally got a really big sweet tooth, but not now this baby just wants meat.”
“I just eat them out of the jar and then drink the juice!” (Referring to pepperoncinis, which are mild and sweet Italian peppers)
“Sadly I was a vegetarian for so many years and I’ve been craving meat, which I hate to say because I’m such a huge supporter of not doing that,” Tiffany tells OK!. “I feel like I guess this little one is wanting a lot of red meat.”
“Rebecca has been craving a lot of ice cream! And not any one particular brand … a lot of the different ones at Ben and Jerry’s, but also other crazy brands.” (quote by her husband Jerry O’Connell)
” The only craving [in] this pregnancy that was kind of regular was Rocky Road ice cream, but even that tapered off. The first pregnancy, her one craving — one and only that she had only once — was a root beer float.” (Quote by her husband Dean McDermott)
“My most intense craving was a waffle with butter and syrup. weirdest maybe a relish and mayo sandwich, but only once thank god!”
“It’s not so much the craziness of the craving, it’s just when she craves it – it’s usually about two or three in the morning and that’s on me. I’m the one that has to run out – either go make her a sandwich or go to In-N-Out Burger or whatever she wants at any given time. It’s not unheard of stuff she wants, it’s just that when she wants it is inconvenient for me.” (Quote by boyfriend Joel Madden)
“She’s been eating onion rings with mustard and a box of chocolates in the same sitting!” a friend tells OK!. “She loves these bars that are dark chocolate and cinnamon mixed with Mexican chiles for an added kick.”
“Every day I have eaten ham and cheese sandwiches, I can’t get enough of them. Wish they had these back in the states, the bread is amazing. My tummy is getting bigger by the second and the little one must like the food too because it is moving and kicking like crazy. ITS THE BEST.”
