To say that the Aurora screening of the newest installment of the Batman saga The Dark Knight Rises was a dark night would be an understatement.
At a midnight screening of the much anticipated blockbuster in suburban Colorado, 24-year-old James Holmes reportedly entered the packed theater twenty minutes into the film and opened fire on the audience, killing ten and injuring 38 others (including a 3-month-old baby).
It was a shocking and senseless act which has made quite an impact on everyone in the country on Friday morning when the news began to circulate.
