Bad news for anyone hoping to see more episodes of Two and a Half Men anytime this season, the series is officially done for the season following the latest round of Charlie Sheen’s antics. The reason isn’t really due to his recent rehab issues, but more for his inability to filter his own comments about the show that hands over a major paycheck to the star for each episode. Unfortunately it isn’t really Charlie Sheen who gets to pay for his actions, but the other actors, crew, and fans of the show who are impacted by the decision to shut it down.
The actor was expected to return to work on new episodes of the show on Monday, February 28th. That is he was supposed to return to work until he decided to run his mouth about the series that pays his bills.
“I embarrassed him in front of his children and the world, by healing at a pace that his unevolved mind cannot process,” the “100 percent clean” Sheen said of series creator Chuck Lorre on The Alex Jones Show earlier this week. “Last I checked, Chaim, I’ve spent close to the last decade effortlessly and magically converting your tin cans into pure gold, and the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write.” Umm…. that charlatan happens to be Sheen’s boss… not exactly creating a positive work environment!
So while my husband may mourn the loss of his favorite Monday night sitcom, I’ll sit back and enjoy my Charlie Sheen free Monday’s watching episodes of The Bachelor on the big TV for the rest of the season!!
