Charlie Sheen Didn't Go Straight to Rehab After Being Hospitalized – Here's Why!

charlie sheen hospitalizedAfter Charlie Sheen was released from the hospital he didn’t do damage control with his distraught ex-wife and try to hug his young daughters for the next 24 or 48 hours. Instead he flew right back to Los Angeles on a private jet. Many thought his first stop would be rehab. It would make sense. He reportedly had been on a week long coke binge and was completely intoxicated when he was found naked in his hotel room with a hooker. That would usually scream “get him back to Promises stat!” But instead he went home and later this week he is supposedly going right back to work. Pretty much acting as  if nothing had happened. But there is a reason why he couldn’t and wouldn’t go back to rehab his week…

He only has about a week left of his probation (from his Aspen domestic violence case). His plea deal stated that there was to be “no use of alcohol in excess, or drugs, RX drugs only in prescribed doses; no violation of criminal laws or ordinances except traffic infractions.” Conditions that he did not meet. But since there were no charges filed against Charlie there was no official proof that he had been abusing substances. If he went straight to rehab he would pretty much be admitting that he had fallen off the wagon. But if he lived out the next week as if everything was totally normal, then he’d outlast the probation. Then he has two choices. Go back to his crazy partying ways or check himself back into rehab.

Do you think he’ll get his act together?
