Charlie Sheen Gets 1 Million Twitter Followers – In 24 Hours! (VIDEO)

If you are a Twitter fan, you probably have already seen all of the Charlie Sheen Twitter hoopla. But the self-proclaimed “winner” (that’s #winner if you tweet) Charlie Sheen is tweeting even after the stressful day of losing his toddler sons.

On Wednesday, Sheen started a verified Twitter account, which means that the Twitter powers that be actually verified that the person tweeting under his name was in fact him. He started tweeting vows to win back custody of his 23-month-old twins Bob and Max. He continued with crazy updates and photos.

“Still Winning! Pong!” he tweeted of a weird photo of himself making peace signs in front of a glowing blue DirectTV flat screen.

He also retweeted a dig that comedienne Sarah Silverman made on her own Twitter feed. “Whining!” read the Silverman’s tweet, which she signed Charlie Sheenstein – a reference to allegations he’s anti-Semitic.

Before he even sent out his first tweet, he alreadfy had 150,000 followers. After he tweeted the picture (above) with the caption: “Winning! Choose your vice.”, followers had climbed to over 280,000 in just an hour.

After just 8 hours, Sheen had accumulated over 600,000 Twitter followers. By the evening of its second day, Sheen’s Twitter feed rocketed past 1 million followers – some of them even celebrities! “In all sincerity … Thank you Twitter community for the warm reception & the followers that helped get me to1M in 24 hours!!!” he wrote.

I am following Charlie Sheen on Twitter because he’s such a mess that I just have to see what he’s going to do and say next!
