Check Out "Teen Mom" Chelsea Houska's Custom Ultrasound Painting!

The finished collage.

Twitter isn’t just for messaging your BFFs, sharing photos or commenting on breaking news stories. Every so often, you come across a follower who can offer you something truly unique.

A young Ottawa artist named Quin Brooks reached out to Teen Mom 2‘s Chelsea Houska, offering to create a mixed-media painting based on her ultrasound image and personal photos.

Quin, a huge fan of the show, had just finished a piece for Ashley Salazar of 16 and Pregnant and decided to try her luck with the popular mom.

“I want to paint your painting!!!” wrote the artist, who uses the Twitter name @UltraPreciousMoments and sells her work through Etsy. “I do ultrasound and baby/mommy art work, love for you to send me some pictures to work with! Just finished @ashleyslzr.”

Chelsea jumped at the chance. “Do it!” she told Quin. “I love leopard print and tiger lilies ;)”

In just a few days, the artist had created a one-of-a-kind portrait comprising photo transfers of Chelsea in late pregnancy, the ultrasound with painted accents and an acrylic painting of Chelsea and baby Aubree (in the requested leopard print).

The famous client was impressed: “OMG! I love looove it!” she wrote, and immediately posted a retweet of the painting.

Twitter being what it is, however, the post immediately sparked rumors that Chelsea was pregnant again. Quin had to do some quick damage control: “I’m an artist painting for her, from her FIRST and ONLY pregnancy! Sorry for confusion!”

The portrait was shipped out on Tuesday, and now Quin is ready for her next clients. She hasn’t made any offers to Leah Messer or Maci Bookout (yet).

What do you think of it? Would you order a memento like this for yourself or for a baby shower?
