Chris Brown apologized for his explosion after his Good Morning America interview. Brown’s apology message was played on BET today in an effort to do damage control for Tuesday’s incident.
After an interview on Good Morning America Tuesday, Brown had an angry meltdown after being asked questions about his former girlfriend Rihanna. In the message played on BET’s 106th and Park, Chris Brown said:
“First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really disappointed in my actions, because I was disappointed in the way I acted and, you know, a lot of people don’t know what went down.”
Brown went on to say that there was nothing about Rihanna or about the restraining order in the talking points he gave to Good Morning America before the interview. The GMA team has confirmed to national media that no talking points were given to the ABC GMA team by Brown or anyone on Chris Brown’s team prior to the interview.
The purpose of the interview on Good Morning America was to promote Chris Brown’s new album F.A.M.E. but the rapper feels that the people at GMA were not fair to him:
“I felt like, ok, they told us this just so they can get us on the show so they can exploit me. You know, that’s what I thought…and I kind of took it very, very hard.”
Talk to me people! Was this a good apology?
